Every document has different requirements and needs. The type of edit, document length, format, and a client’s own deadline differ from project to project. Accordingly, Bleeding Pen Editing does not offer a “price per document.” Rather, a project’s cost will be determined by a variety of factors (e.g., length, editorial service required, deadline).
Prices for all projects will be determined individually, based on a sliding hourly scale of $40–$80, with a minimum document price of $40. Rates are determined by a variety of factors, including (but not limited to): editorial service required, length, format, any required deadlines, and style guides.

A deposit of 50% of estimated costs will be due before the commencement of any editing. Final payment is due with the receipt of your edited document. I will return your edited manuscript and style sheets as locked files. I will send the password to unlock your files upon receipt of your final payment.
